Had to get out of the house for a while so, headed up to the range with my Border Khan w/Hex5 limbs. 60", 42#@28". I did some warm up shots on the 20yd target, then moved out to the 30yd just to see what the Khan could do. Here is my first 30yd group, and yes I was shooting for the circle. :goldtooth: I had a compound shooter come over and admire my Khan and asked a lot of questions. Was very happy to share! :bigsmyl:

OOOOhhhhh, I can't  wait for the Maddog to get here! Imagine, I shoot longbows better than recurves.

Rob, can't thank you enough my friend for the Khan! I really do like the grip on this bow than most other recurve type grips. I was very surprised at how fast it shot also! That was one of the comments the compound guy made to me too. :)

I shot my sas frontier some today while grilling out. For a cheap bow it really does stack them in there nicely. I removed the super slick "leather" grip and was shooting much better. Im going to try replacing it with some real leather

Well done! ;)
Excuse my ignorance,  it's the first time I see such a bow: are you sure your brace height is high enough?  The string seems to be in contact with the limb for a long stretch.  Congratulations again,   that's a nice looking bow :)

Yes, brace height is set as recommended by Border. The Border limbs are designed with an aggressive limb tip that has more curve to it than a standard recurve.

Thank you! :wavey: I normally don't shoot out to 30yds and it's outside my comfort zone but, wanted to see how I would do. Seems I can! :goldtooth:
