Another great Rendezvous. Here are the takeaways from this year:

-Got to hang with some great friends.
-Got to chill with our friends from last year.
-Made new friends. -Nora(6yo) was an absolute trooper with 4days of 90+ temps.
-It is possible to wear wet clothes for four days straight.
-23 minute camp tear down, whaaaaa?!
-No blisters.
-No poison ivy.
-Carbs, Ding Dongs, water, Gatorade, water, repeat.
-House flies....WTF?

-No seriously, WTF was up with all the flies?

And last but not least...how 'bout that heat eh?  Wow...then of course wouldn't you know it, the showers were hot as ever.

We brought 2 new families to the rendezvous this year and they likewise had a blast.  Resulted in the purchase of a couple of youth bows and an order for their mom.

My oldest has outgrown her current bow so we put in an order for the next step up...put a little flare on this order, let's hope she likes it.

Needless to say, already looking forward to next year.

Another great Rendezvous. Here are the takeaways from this year:

You can see, just how close she got to hitting this disk.  I swear she grazed it.

Like I said...wet clothes for 4 day straight.

The mullberries were perfectly ripe.  The kids couldn't get enough.  My oldest Nora was a purple stained, sticky mess half the time.

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

So great seeing you and the whole family. Nora is awesome, That girl could give most of us shooting lessons. Her form is amazing. Looks like Noah was doing great also.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. It's awesome to see families enjoying that weekend together. This is the first year that I wasn't able to camp there in probably 10 years. I made it up Saturday just to visit with vendors and old friends. I will have to look you up next year. Good shoot'n

I bet that whole deal is a blast, but the aerial discs looks like it would really be a hoot!

Hope I can make it up there one day!
