Can really shoot an arrow for only being 58". First time shooting in over 3yrs! Hit the range this morning with my son for a while. I did a few warm up shots and put these three where I wanted them at 17yds. Can't wait for my Maddog to arrive to really get down to some serious practice! :goldtooth: My son Robert was really making my ego feel good too. :biglaugh: Bow is a Great Northern Lil Creep. 58", 43# @ 28". Arrows are AD Trad Lites, 29.5" BOP with a 125gr field tip. Total weight, 460gr.

Thanks, it's good to be back! I couldn't shoot for very long as my arms started having issues pulling the weight and I was beginning to shake all over. Fortunately, if I get to hunt, I'm probably only gonna get the one shot anyway.

Nice shooting there. Those lil creeps are nice little bows. I saw where gn brought back the fireball and are getting ready to bring back the critter gitter
Northern mist Shelton 66" 53# @ 28"

Yep, I saw that too. This is a sweet little bow, especially for stand or blind shooting. I am waiting on my custom Prairie Predator from Maddog and that is going to be my primary bow. Just picked this one up to have something to play around with 'til it gets here. I might hang on to it, just not sure yet.

What length prairie predator did you go with. Ive been talking with mike about a few bow options. After shooting that D bow i picked up a few days ago i may actually steer towards the follower extreme.

I got the 62" Prairie Predator with green glass front and back, Osage riser and overlays.

I always liked the Bushbow a lot.I shot the Little Creep at Kalamazoo.Really liked that little bow.Weighed next to nothing and shot very nice.Have fun with your boy:)

Thanks guys! :wavey: This stuff is not without it's challenges as I get sever fatigue if I push it to much but, I'm really enjoying teaching and watching Robert. He is having a blast with archery and that is the most important part for me! :)

It is at that! I believe with Maddog being longer will have a smoother pull and be more stable when shooting so, I have lots of hope in getting it done this year. Mostly, I am just glad to be able to do a little shooting again. Worse case scenario, I drop down to 30-40lb's and just target shoot. :goldtooth:
