Hello everyone, my name is Brian and I am from Florida. I have come across this site many times just casually reading about bowyering and traditional archery. I had not taken it up as of yet due to so many irons in the fire but it has always been of interest.

Well recently I started looking for a trad bow for some target shooting (just to add one more thing to the list of things to do besides work and honey-dos) and saw your forum charity auction and it seems like a good way to possibly obtain a quality bow while contributing to something worthy.

Thank you to the posters for their generosity in donating items and to your forum for its kindness in suppoorting a worthy charity. Look forward to participating here and learning more about trad.

Regards,

Brian

If you're interested in bow building, check out the bowyers bench forum. All kinds of bows built there, and plenty of info and ribbing too!  :goldtooth:
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Welcome to traditional archery. It is a great and sometimes humbling hobby. Be sure to look up the Traditional Bowhunters of Florida. They are great folks and have some really nice shoots near Silver Springs.

Thanks for the words of welcome. The Florida group advertises there annual shoot on another forum as well and it looks like a good time.
