Hey everyone, been a while since I have been here, have been acting as chief caregiver for my wife, bow building and even shooting have went by the wayside. I was able to help a friend build his wife a bow last fall. as is often the case when you hear from someone who has been absent for a while, I am in need. my nephew ask last night if I would show him how to shoot trad. I was thrilled to help, he then ask if I had a bow he could borrow to shoot, he is 17 with long arms, I am short and fat with short arms and have always liked heavier bows, (getting over that as I age) but the lightest bow I have is 58@28 with his long arms all mine are to heavy for him, I gave the last lighter bow away last fall to a friends son. does anyone have a RD in the 40# range they would like to sell, I thought it best if I just buy him one that is lighter so he can start and not pick up bad habits right off of the bat, and I knew this is the place to look.
