Not allowed to see attachments

Please forgive my ignorance but I cannot see any photo attachments. I have looked for the answer but cant find it. Is it a paid membership thing?

Anyone should be able to see the photo attachments whether they are a contributing member or not. Probably something to do with your connection or perhaps anti-virus software.

ALL people seeing this forum, whether non-registered guests or trad gang members have the ability to read threads and see images. this is a problem on your end. check your browser settings.

yes and you also do not have to be a member or have to be logged in to see pictures

I was having same issue, my profile showed up but I was not logged in. Once logged in issue went away. I just tried logging out and trying shows "not allowed to see attachments", once logged in I can see everything again.

correct, but since then the viewing of attachment by guests (a 'guest' is a viewer who has not logged in, and logging in can only occur by a registered member) has been turned on.

I'm in the same boat. If I clear my cookies and don't sign in I can't view pictures either.

when i logoff and don't log back in, accessing the site as a guest, i can see all images - banner ads and all post attached images.

soooooo - sounds like it's a local issue.

Same here and I even cleared my cookies and browsing history after I logged off.

Still see all pictures.

Since Rob added permissions to Guests(NOT LOGGED IN) to view attachments.
Anybody that still has issues it is absolutely a browser cache issue.
Either live with it till your browser catches up or clear cache in your browser manually now.
Usually when you do so you will need to login again.
I don't know all the short cut keys to clear cache on each browser but in firefox it is F5
Other browsers you may need to delete the cookie and refresh.
