Well, after 42 years, I signed my retirement papers at 4:45pm yesterday afternoon. Have some loose ends to tie up on Monday and starting Tuesday I'll be chasing Steelhead with a Fly rod/Spey rod for the next three weeks on Michigans Pere Marquette river. Followed by a month of turkey hunting in May and a summer of playing Grampa.

Fall will be filled with fall Steelhead, Atlantic Salmon and of course Whitetail.

It's been a long time coming and I'm ready :goldtooth:

Congratulations !! Enjoy!! You seem to have set a grueling schedule, but I think you meet the challenge
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Congratulations, sir.  I'm still a few years away from that, but am watching the "old timers" retiring from the shop I work at, and realizing that I'm now one of the "old timers".  It's exciting, and a bit scary at the same time.  Enjoy!!!

Too many bows to list, and so many more I want to try!  Keep the wind in your face, and your broadheads sharp.

Congratulations! You have been blessed as a lot of us on this site has been as well.
Never measure the mountain until you have reached the top, then you will see how low it is.

:clapper: Welcome to the club........I have been retired for 11 years and it has been a wonderful thing, fishing, hunting, kayaking, motorcycling and now also a grandpa. Enjoy your time and have fun........

Congrats.

You are going to love it.

I've been retired 5 years now.
