Great Northern Limb mount quiver on a Black Widow... anyone Pictures?  I have a PCH without quiver mounts and the GN limb mount looking like a good option. Would like to see pictures of them on a BW .. if you have one it would be great to see it and your thoughts on them.

Thanks for your help,
Steve

I'm sure great Northern are very nice quivers but thought I would share the Thunderhorn Sidewinder that I just received.  it really turned out nice and was built to match my bow.

Thanks for sharing Nole .. very nice quiver.

Wow .. 61 views and only one reply. GN limb mount quivers on a BW must not be to popular.

I do have a black one on my graybark, and a brown one on my autum oak. Love them a lot. I will try to get some pictures up by the weekend, on the road a lot this week. Had the side mount, and the strap on's also, on both bows throughout the years, "Really like Great Northern quivers". Settled on the limb mount ones, they seem to be the quickest on and off. I always practice and hunt with them off the bow, "just habit", but for walking to and from, I keep them on. Great choice

I use these Great Northerns for my Widows. Bought a few of them 20 years ago and haven't seen them for sale for years. They were built and sold as a strap on quiver for Widows before they started making the current side mount quiver. I'd give Great Northern a call and see if they could make one up for you. Pic of one mounted on my old Kwyk Styk.

Yellow Dog ... never know they made them in the past .. I'll call and ask. I would like the attachment on the bow but this is surely a great option.

Black Widow had them in their catalog in the late 90's. Bought a new SAII in 1997 and a new MAIII in 1998 and puchased a quiver with each bow when I ordered the bows from Black Widow. Still have and hunt with those 2 bows, they're on the never sell list.

Ryan ... that's it. Looks nice on the bow ... I have heard of some guys putting a left handed quiver on a right hands bow to put the quiver more inline with the handle. Seems well balanced as is?

Thanks for your help,
Steve

Steve, I can understand why people would say that. It's been awhile since I've owned that set up, so it would be hard for me to say. I do know that the bow tuned well. If it didn't, I wouldn't take it hunting.  ;)

That being said, these days all my GN quivers have the strap attachment.

Sorry, I don't have the best images as I didn't save many of my older stuff. Here's my last BW that I owned with a strap attachment. The top attachment peg is strapped to the "back" of the limb and the lower attachment is strapped to the "belly".

Too many bows to list, and so many more I want to try!  Keep the wind in your face, and your broadheads sharp.

Not a limb bolt quiver, but similar in mounting. This is a kick back extreme, no issues with tuning.  I love the Great Northern quivers this is the fourth one i've bought from them. I don't think you'll go wrong with one if you choose to go with one.
