YES!! TAKE IT BACK!!!

I put it om my bro's bow last year, gloss then flat . He said any touch to anything left a white mark on the bow.

I use 4 coats duplicolor in the red can on wood surfaces, don't worry too much about the glass. Automotive clearcoat.  Then I give it a coat or 3 of Duplicolor Wheel finish matte in the bigger black can on all surfaces.

No luck with the stuff in pic, bro scraped it off after season and refinished. I even told him it was under warranty.... :saywhat:
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Oh, the clearcoat dries on everything I've tried it on....

My progress has slowed since track started, I finally got some sanding done and took the bow out to shoot last night. Looking good, need to do some final sanding and get it all finished up.[attachment=1]

Disregard the wide flyer in the photo, shooter error!

!

I pulled my test bow out of the oven today and roughed her out. I think for a new bow design, my weight is going to come in just fine. I have a neighbor who is having a birthday soon and is getting into archery. I think this one is going to be perfect for him. Now to pick the veneers for the fancy swap version!

Ink - some nice looking bows there. What is the wood in the riser of the last pic?

Ben - Bummer. Most of us have been there. More than a few have been there more than once.

Well, I got my test bow in the oven tonight in the new form. This is the first time I've done risers with a pattern sanding jig. Dang, where has that been all my life!?! Things went well, I'm excited to pull it out tomorrow and hopefully see where weight landed before long. Then off to the clear glass and good veneers for the final bow.

re: canopyboy... it is "multiple teak lams".

Finished up my victims bow this afternoon. Been putting a few arrows through it. I may shoot it for another week before I mail it off.
