I'm a wood bow guy, but the looks of these glass bows are making me really hope that one of them ends up on my doorstep.

Been wanting to try out some antlers....
Life is too short to use marginal bow wood

Well so far I've picked a piece for riser back  overlay and a couple for tips. Thinned out to where I like and soaked glue side of antler with ca . Will rough up and install later today .  Have phenolic on tips and will put sliver over that.
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Thought I had made a flaw free bow but after final finish when its in the sun you can see two small cloudy spots in the glass. Nothing serious but enough to bug me. Any of you guys ever build a bow that you couldn't find a flaw in? I sure haven't been able to!

Coming along slowely. I got it cleaned up with a scraper, so I've still gotta sand it smooth. It's got single side nocks cut in leaving a 2.5" bracing lever. Which isn't reallly needed for a bow of this weight, but it's te design I'm going with. The floor tiller looked good so I went ahead and braced it. I don't think it looks too bad. So the next step I'll start pulling it back on te tree and see where it is weight wise. Imc will get it pulled a bit to see where it's starting. Ive gottado a little tweak to align the string and I may do a mild heat treat while I'm at it.
I don't think it'll take muc more to get to full draw. I can probably just about excercise it back while tweaking the tiller a bit.

HUH??

There is a flaw in every bow, even the pro's .

Just how it works. I usually have several in mine!    :D

Dannon, glad it got there quickly! I've had a couple real slow ones lately!
Stay sharp, Kenny.
