That sure seems to be a lot of clamps, maybe it wouldn't sag in the middle so much if you didn't use so many??   :help:

It's only about 45 clamps...   :)   .  What can I say, I don't like gaps in my glue line.
I move the form with it clamped into a closet with a heater to cure, and it must weigh 60 lbs with all those clamps...haha.

Ok, last pic of my swap bow, I promise....     :saywhat:

Very nice, Lonnie.. Love the white limbs..   :)

Ok, I'm tracking 2 in the mail now -- keep your eyes open.

Additionally there is one about to ship that I've given the ok for and another that is ready and just waiting on the recipient to complete his bow. No pressure or anything...

Looks like everyone's making good progress but me. Got tired of waiting on my bandsaw blades to come in the mail so I ordered a couple more yesterday from another site online. Maybe they'll be here next week! I'm ready to get this thing glued up!

I'm close to getting started.  Have two bows to complete and ship first.

It'll be ground up including the form.  A little nervous about stack cause my victim's range is very narrow!

Not that I am expecting to be your victim, but I did list a narrow margin as well, so if needed by whomever, take mine 5 lbs. either direction if needed.

Same here.

Just waiting for my Smooth On to get here so I can continue my work.  I have the form made, and the veneers and lams skived waiting for glue up.  Just stuck on the riser at the moment since it needs to be bonded together.

Lots of progress being made by everyone.  I was starting to feel like a slacker, but I got my victim's bow glued up this weekend and rough shaped.

It will be a mild r/d, black glass, curly maple riser, and walnut/maple lams.  Going for clean and simple on this one.  The weight should come in perfect for the recipient.

Looking good!

I really like curly maple.

Mo_coon-catcher

That's going to look great once the finish touches it.

Nice John, I love curly maple risers..

I started on my bow.  It's an osage selfbow, 66" long, 1-1/4" wide.  Probably going to be rounded belly.

I don't have the energy to do the dance to get photos on here so if you would like to see them, you can go to the Selfbow Nation group page on Facebook.  You shouldn't have to have a facebook account to look at them.    Selfbow Nation

She is pretty much done, but got a couple coats of matte to go on her yet......

It is fairly close to 122# @ 40" that the poor victim asked for...

Stay sharp, Kenny.

Lonnie, this thing is so fast the arrow is gone before you can hit anchor . LOL
