Snakeskin on the back of glass limbs? I would feel better using the pad's,instead of Sandpaper to remove an old set of Diamondback skins. Would this work? Thanks!

I would be comfortable using sandpaper.
Would rather risk sanding glass a little, rather than lift a splinter with the scotch brite. JMO.

Maybe scrape the bulk of the skin off with a razor then use steel wool or even the Scotch-Bright pad.
