I hope you guys are giving me credit for the bow I reposted above. That belongs to Krasus as Kenny said I just thought it deserved another look!
The best made plan won't get it made the way you planned.

Where is that one you just built Pago? It could use another look too!

Turning the template into a form.

I used Bondo to tune up the imperfections and didn't care for the results.  Usually I use wood putty and get better results so the minor dips are not completely filled so it's back to the wood putty.

I bought some Bondo spot putty in a tube, that stuff was junk for filling on bow forms. The other in a qt. can with the little tube of hardener is much better stuff!!

I finished it up with the putty.  Bondo is too high tech for me.

Working on a small order for the first off of this form.  I'll get it off to you by Monday.

Over the past few days, I managed to get limbs profiled and overlays put on the shorty bow.

Got the riser mostly shaped today. Still needs a little work. Hopefully by the end of the week I can get a string on it and see how it bends.

Just got my lap top back from the computer hospital tonight.
It had a lot of dust inside and was running slow because it was heating up.

Worked on another r/d. Had to trap the back and lower the belly facets to get some weight off it. Some dummy forgot to taper the core lams and it came out too heavy.

Today I did a quick test run on a wall paper steamer that I picked up for a few bucks a while back.  It worked great for recurving the tips on an osage bow.  I'm going to build a sturdier steam box for the next one.  The PVC got pretty soft.  After 25 minutes of steam the tips bent very easily.
