I got this Awesome Osage stave from Clint (scrub buster) 2  years ago.
I got it floor tillered and Heat treated one side nice and slow. 3 hours one side.

Touched up broadheads, drove back to see if blind was stolen or blown away, and loaded all my turkey stuff in truck......

Didn't draw an elk tag so got my lion tag. Found a pet lion in heat youtube video and was able to get the sound track from it and edit that with audacity to remove the background noise and any hiss. Then I found an elk calf distress call from Yellowstone park which I also cleaned up and mixed with the lion call. I've got my homemade electronic call all ready to go and a bunch of calls on my old iphone 4 that I'll hook up to the caller. I'll be heading to the mountains north of here and give it a try. The max range I feel comfortable with my longbow is 25 yards so I should wear an adult diaper for scent control.
