Well, the last bow i made ended with a BANG as some of you may have read. It was do to bad wood choices in the riser. I made this one out of ipe, and jatoba. Ipe is my "go to" wood...i love it. Jatoba and boo cores, with whitetail tips, and back overlay.
Ive shot this bow around 100 time pretty sure its a keeper... Fingers crossed

Great job on that one!

Did you use ipe for the limbs of the riser?
If so, what's the ipe lam thickness?

BenBow

Looks like a keeper for sure
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

I used bamboo flooring, and jatoba for the limb lams. I just added overlays on the belly... Jatoba, whitetail antler. I think it realy sets it off.
