Finally got the bow finished. It is 57", 48#@28"
Riser wood is predominant cherry with a 5/16" strip of rosewood and two .040 strips of dogwood. The riser backing is also rosewood and dogwood. Laminations are maple actionwood dyed red mahogany. It is finished with Tru-Oil left glossy for now. Later on I can take off the shine with 0000 steel wool if I please.
She is a real nice shooter, however, next time I use this form I will probably make make it a 58" bow.
I apolgize for the poor quality pictures, I always do better taking pics outdoors.

Thank you all for the nice comments, she is a sweet shooter, I tried it out in my basement the first time. I have always said that I can build them better than I can shoot them!

Better than my first. You will learn from each one. Ive built about 100 now and still learn from each one. Thanks for posting    Mark

Been busy with life lately, but finally here is a picture test shooting the next bow off the same form as the cherry bow. It has a walnut and Padauk riser, black glass over gray maple actionwood lams. 57" ntn, 50lb.@28". This time I made the riser longer and beefier and am pleased with the results.

Should be very fast and have good draw force curve. I love the way the tips are holding up at full draw. Semi Static. Very neat design. Good job.

God bless, Steve

I really like the finished bow, you did a very nice job. Did you design the bow yourself?
