Most/ a lot of girls seem to be happy when they choose someone with similarities to their Dad.

Well Wayne, the problem is that we were just like them back then. That's why we worry. Of course, I was more prepared to deal with crazy fathers than the crazy women they were worried about. Hence I'm just as wiling to buy them a drink as threaten their lives. Although if they accept at this age it'll be both!

My two girls are married and raising their own kids. Each has a daughter. I got each of the son in laws a black t-shirt with the following emblazoned across the front

"Guns don't kill people. Dads with pretty daughters do!"

Each of them has it neatly folded in a drawer waiting for the daughters first date to come to the door.

Hope I live long enough to see it.

I had to manhandle one young man who was pursueing one of the girls. It resulted in me having an interview with a cop (lady cop) who told me "well, I understand, but try not to do it again".

Made me my wife's hero for at least a week. :D

Between the second wife and I, we have 2 kids each to the previous X spouse. We have 12 grandkids and 1 great grand son from that mix.

I just laugh and send them home now ah days... One of the best days was we had two grandsons fishing at our pond. Well being Me, I sent the one home with about 6 night crawlers in his pocket. He loved it, so did I, but my daughter called me an hour later a little IRATE.. LMAO...

I said this is called pay back... She hung up on me.. LOL

They're earthworms. At night, especially after a rain, they will come up to the surface and worm around. Hence the name nightcrawlers.

When I was with my first wife, when prospective suitors came in they saw the extensive amount of computer systems I used for work. I would hand each one a satellite pic of their house with their parents' names an phone number, etc. I then told them if I could find all that out from a name, imagine what I could do if I got angry.

She got mad when her suitors stopped calling. I never hurt anyone, never damaged anything. I never threatened with a weapon. I simply reminded them I could essentially remove them from the world's systems. I thought it was a riot.

Well I think I just pulled the trigger on a bandsaw... The cutting capacity is 30x16!!! Yep one of those dimensions are in inches and the other in FEET!!! Now , where to put the dang thing. I will post some pics when I pick it up this weekend.
