I can't wait to have my dedicated bow-building shop!

Bowjunkie

I gotta get me one of them someday.

Roy from Pa

Bowjunkie

I gotta get my shop done first.

That looks like a nice one. Is that the one you have? That's why I want to have a few 220v outlets in there.

Roy from Pa

Yes I have that one. It is a powerful machine. Yupper on the 220 volts.

Bowjunkie

Did you wire your sander for 220?

Wagstaff

Thats on my wish list too... Right behind a Canister Dust Collector..!

Roy from Pa

It comes prewired for 220 and I left it like that.

bigbob2

I wasn't aware that this model was available there, what with U.S.a  being 110v etc so that's something I've learned.

Wolftrail

Isn't that a little overkill for building bows. .?  1 1/2 hp. that is a Monster........   :scared:    I once used one and my piece somehow got side cocked against the belt, it threw the piece of wood flying and caught my finger which tore off the end of my finger tip.... like a chunk of meat was hanging there.

bamboo

"Isn't that a little overkill for building bows. .? "
NO SUCH THING!!LOL!!!
I have never once while grinding exotic or domestic hardwoods thought -"I need less horsepower!"
Mike

wood carver 2

You can never have too much horsepower!    :bigsmyl:
I've gotten too enthusiastic and stalled my little belt sander a few times.
Dave.
