when tillering a bow do you draw it at centerline or where the arrow rest would be?

Pat B

I put the centerline of the bow in at the centerline of the tiller tree.

What Pat does. Then, I adjust the tiller in front of a mirror or with digital photos. I want the limbs even or the bottom limb stiffer by a 1/4" or so but at full draw. Jawge

Here's how I do it.

I put the handle on the tree where the bowhand will exert the most pressure.  I put the hook from my pull rope where my middle finger from my draw handle will be.  Usually, this starts in the center of the string but often moves upward a bit.  It's not an exact science.
Take a kid hunting!
