I picked these up at a local Hardware supplier. The screws are 1 1/4" long X 1/4" d.  The inserts are 1/2" deep X 3/8 round.  He said the inserts are brass alloy.
Will they work for a takedown bow, I will be using 2 screws per limb. Why...? Because I'm more confident.

"Standard" is a 5/16" diameter limb bolt, which in turn is going to give you a larger diameter threaded insert equaling more surface area of threads to hold into the riser. I'd be leery of using that setup for a hunting weight bow personally, especially if you aren't threading it into a super-hard riser material. Looks like a good setup for a kids bow to me. My 2 cents for what its worth.

Thanks for your input.  I exchanged them for the 5/16" hardware.

I have used those years ago and they held up real good. Those were my first take downs so looks didnt matter so much back then since I was just trying to get things perfected.

Anything you can buy local at a hardware supplier will cost half as much or less than a specialty item from a bow building supplier. Those will work perfect and if you are using two per limb they will work twice as good as perfect.

Should work fine with 5/16" bolts.  When I built my first takedowns Binghams supplied a 3/8" bolt that you tapped into the riser, your inserts should be much stronger than my old 3/8" bolt.
