Okay, So I've been asking some questions about this project I'm working on and figured I would take some pics and share. I am terrible with taking pics and always forget to do it during the process. It is all wood, African Mahogany, SOme sort of Rosewood in the limb pads and in the I-beams, and an unknown wood in the curved laminations (can't really see them but should once it is finished)

I also made some deer heart tacos from the doe I shot last weekend  :)  mixed together tomatoes, red onions, cilantro and lime juice and warmed some pitas in the oven, they were delicious
!!

Tell me something why did you router out riser pad section.?  Those deer heart tacos look good........just drooling        :saywhat:        :wavey:

Good question  :)  it is for my ilf inserts, jim mann makes them and they are just about the easiest inserts to use.

First time I saw those, they are the cats meow for sure.    Does Jim Mann have a website...?

grouse11

Unfortunately not, he makes these in his machine shop. He doesn't frequent this site much, goes by Mann, but is on POA a good bit, where he goes by the same name.

Love the tacos in the middle of the build! I'll have to remember that next time!
