Finished up my new hunting bow this year and thought I would share.

Length: 60"
Weight: 65 lbs.at 28"
Riser: Black walnut and bocote
Limbs: Bocote with bamboo core

 







Man did you see how fast that arrow flew past the target?

Very nice!!!!  The riser has a very stream-line, sleek look with that thinner profile going into the limb mounts!  Very nice job and good luck with it   :thumbsup:

Nice looking bow and wood combo. As LookMom said very streamlined, my concern is that neck above the site window looks thin and the grain on that walnut right there, would worry me . I don't build takedowns so I'm no expert on the design or anything, just my gut feeling. Still looks awesome.

Razorback.  Yes is it thin at the top but not really at the same time. Its actually really think and holds the weight well. Been making my bows slender like this for a while now with no issues. Even made a 70lbs one much like the one you see. Thanks for the comments.
