A few of the 54" R/D longbows I've built the past few months. The first has a Zebrawood, glass and phenolic riser with A-boo tapers and black glass. The second has gray a-wood, glass and phenolic riser with gray a-wood tapers and black glass. The third has a Cocobolo, glass and phenolic riser with maple tapers and black glass.

They sure sound nice, but I can't see em!
Plant a fruit or nut tree today, and have good hunting tomorrow.

I give up trying to post pics on here.

Could you post the specs on your 54" RD longbow? I would like to try a short RD design.

Thanks

The specs on these three bows are as follows. The Zebrawood bow is 42#@27", the Gray Actionwood bow is 45#@27" and the Coconolo bow is 51#@27". They all draw smoothly to 28" built with .002 total taper and a 16" riser.  I use two .001 tapers and a piece of red or black Uni-weft with .040 glass.

I'll be starting another one in the next few days and I may do a build along with all the specifics. Had a death in the family last night so things are a little hectic right now.
