buffalo hide ?

for those that use the buffalo hide finish, do i need to "clean" the bow with anything other than a rag?

Glad this got brought up! I'll be ready to spray one with B/H in a few days myself. Maybe the "big guy" will chime in! I'll be watching this one.

I blow mine off with the air hose first then tack it real light.

I blow mine off then put on about 6 coats of shellac.  then the buffalo hide goes on.
