Hello. I'm not sure if this is in the right forum or not, but I couldn't find it.
So, I've got my first sapling shafts put together. I'm going to shoot test them for spine, feather them, and put on a couple judo points. What should I use to seal the wood?

I haven't posted on this board very much, I suspect that might change soon.

Thanks.

Any good sealer will work. I've used Tru-Oil, water based poly, homemade pitch varnish, spray paint, bees wax, etc.

Ok, thanks. I didn't figure it would be very complicated. I'm spending a lot of time straightening sticks and I would prefer them to stay straight for a while.

I use whatever bow finish I have on hand.  Currently it is tung oil.

X2 what Pat said.  Tung oil will work too.  Just use several coats and let it dry completely between applications.  Have fun.
