Guess what i got!   :bigsmyl:
i really respect this guy as a bowyer- and he got me started with bows here in canada  - and have always wanted one of his bows- here is a classic!

a huge thank you to "Big Bert Frelink", this dainty little bow has got to look like a toothpick in his giant mitts!

bigbob2

Lucky!  Beautiful bow and beautifully tillered as well.     :clapper:
It's hard to make a wooden bow which isn't beautiful, even if it's ugly.

Nice. Tiller looks almost too good. Is the Yew Bamboo backed? Bue--.   :)

fujimo

yup, bamboo.
was bucketing down yesterday- when it arrived, so will shoot it today. one of the side effects of living in a rain forest i guess!!!

LittleBen

Hell yea! Nice bow you've got there.

Some of the finest bows I've seen on here have been by Bert, this one is no exception ... beautiful work.

Cheers to both of you!

Roy from Pa

There is nothing prettier than a yew long bow. If I lived in the NW part of the states, I would be making a lot of yew bows.

LittleBen

Makes me want to start planting Yew all over the place in the northeast ... I wonder if it would survive.

Roy from Pa

I believe it would, Ben..

Igor

Nice!

Congrats to all parties!
