Probably been beat to death on here     but here goes. Is storing your unused Smooth-on in the freezer a good way to keep it from turning. I know it has a shelf life for a bit but I've frozen other epoxies with good results. Is ea 40 any different???

Never had any sit for long enough to hit even half of the shelf life.

I found a unit of E 40 on a back shelf that was over 3 years expired. It had a very strong amonia smelll but it still worked good, maybe just a litter darker than new stuff.

Thanks guys, I've been using the west system for years on other projects,their tech sheet states that their epoxies can last for years.Freeze cycles just make it a little thicker with a little crystallization. heating p a bit clears that up.They also say to test for proper mix rates at the thicker viscosity .I just find it funny that Smooth-On does not address storage life.Kind of think it's CYA with one year.Joe, I'm with you but I just found a deal on a two gallon kit, should make a lot of toys, lol jim
