First osage 65" ntn 52@28. Took a while, chasing ring not as hard as I thought once I decided to get at it. Still asked Eric for advice but went solo on this one after he helped me get stave dry. Eric had a few tips for me to try an improve on next one. Second shooter, first osage, first time at it alone. Went with osage tip overlays and shelf, Massey finish put somewhere in neighborhood of 300 or better arrows through it so far.

Looks good.  Congrats
It's hard to make a wooden bow which isn't beautiful, even if it's ugly.

Nice bow - hard to beat a nice plain osage bow.
Enjoy the hunt!  - Mitch

Thanks everyone for the comments. Don't post much figure I need to build a few and a lot to learn. Come here first usually though, enjoy the threads. Great place for a guy just getting started.
