This 52" bow started as a thin belly split that I popped off the bottom of a stave from the big tree I cut in 2011.  It ended up being 45 lbs @ 24".  The limbs are 1 3/8" wide.  The backing is cotton rattler.  The tip overlays are from old persimmon golf club heads.  The string is 10 strands of FF/D97 with some extra strands in the loops.  I finished the bow with 6 coats of tung oil.
