tillering *****'s bow, and i'd like to have some more experienced eyes look at it along the way.  because its not for me, i want every opportunity to make it as perfect as i can.  im gonna post pictures as i go so if anyone sees anything i don't please chime in.  this is going to be a moderate weight hunting bow at an average draw length.  66" ntn, symetrical.  here it is at a 3" brace and pulling 30@15.
sorry i know the lighting and shadows suck, and some are blurry, and the pegboard holes play tricks on ya,  its looking decent to me, but i will spend more time staring at the pictures before i move on.  also i need to pick a top limb and set my tree up to mimic the shooter's hold.

Looks like the rs outer third is stiff to me...could just be the bow is spun a bit( rs is closer)    :dunno:

Its hard for me to tell cause that tip has little reflex to it   i might straighten it out to match the other.  The left limb has a,little pin cluster about 6" from the tip so i dont wanna go tryin to bend that one.

Too my old eyes it looks a little flat outside of the flare on the right limb.

Echatham

Yeah i see that now too.  Think ill hit that little spot and then straighten out that right tip and see where im at.

Roy from Pa

This is why I like to take pictures then look at them later. Just seems like I can pick out flat spots better than standing in the bow shop.

halfseminole

Roy hit it there.

Why, oh why did you mail us a snowstorm?  We tried putting return to sender on it, but I already have over a half inch in the yard.  They won't take it back now that it's dumping snow on us.  It's not even supposed to snow here.

Echatham

Yeah i think so.  Ive also found that i can see it better when its real small like on my phone and held far back.  My last bow ended up 15# light cause i didnt take pictures and spend the time lookin at them.... Just tillered by eye all in one day.  Ill get pictures up of that one soon.  Last coat of tru oil is on and handle gets dressed up tomorrow.

alright, i touched up that area and braced it a little higher, bout 4.5".  how we lookin?

im thinkin the right limb is a little flat near the middle, where i indicated, and the left limb inner third could bend a whisker more.  what say you?

Echatham

btw thats 32#@ 15".  whats that project out to?  still plenty of room to get over 50 right?

Echatham

38 @18.   im steppin back from it for a while.  something doesnt look right and i cant put my finger on it.  once i get it straightened out and looking good at 18 im gonna heat treat the belly and give it just a touch of reflex.

Echatham

did a little more work and i think i about got it.  now im thinking outer third right limb stiff.  gonna take a couple scrapes from mid limb out and then a couple on the outer third.  couple full length left limb to keep em matched and i should be in business.

Roy from Pa

Doesn't look bad, but looks a little flat just outside flare on limb to left..
