Finished tillering the 2nd bow, it has about an inch less set (yeah) and draws 42# @28" . Had to cut an inch off of each end to get the draw weight over 40# . ThanksFujimo and everyone who helped

that tiller looks damn good. How long is the bow?
Brace height might be a tad high, but I wouldn't sweat it as long as it's doing well and shoots well.

How much string follow?

Again, great job. I wouldn't dare show my second bow here.

Where is the full draw pic? Looks good at brace congrats.

Haven't shot it yet, we've got freezing rain here in Texas today. The bow is 70" long, as far as string follow, with the bow belly down resting on the tips, it's right at 3" from the floor to the back of the bow. So is that 3" of set? Is string follow measured the same way?

KellyG

Yes but unlike set the tips go back after the bow has rested. If I am not mistaken.

LittleBen

set or string follow is measured by placing the back of the bow on a surface and measuringt he distance from the back of the tips to the surface.
