Got my first riser with accent stripes in the hot box right now. Charcoal actionwood with Osage and red phenolic. Gonna look cool   :jumper:
So what do you have going on New Years day? Hunting? Bow building? Resting? Gonna go see some family tomorrow, the uncle that can no longer hunt but can tell stories for hours. Love that man.

It's hard to make a wooden bow which isn't beautiful, even if it's ugly.

Hoping I can roll out of bed and glue my hickory backing to this prime ERC I have waiting.  If not, video game hunting, which is all the hunting I got this season after the stroke (at least, that's what they think it was.)  Still time left, I can walk more now, but I haven't got a good reliable bow-I keep giving them away.  Got to make me one (a few.)

DeerBacon

Gluing up the second limb for a 60" TD Recurve. Clear glass, action boo, and pau ferro should make a sweet limb.

Working on a couple of pedestals for my taxidermist friend, then going through my shop to see what I have available for my swap bow. If I still have time, I might do some work on a tri lam that's been sitting in the shop for months waiting for me to get caught up on my other projects.
Happy New Year!
