I have used lots of dymondwood from Rutland Plywood but no actionwood.Just who is it that manufactures actionwood and how does it differ from dymondwood? What are the working differences between the two?

Rutland makes it as well as a couple others. I forget what they call it.

D-Wood is impregnated with resin, actionwood is not. It is just stained and laminated.

Actionwood is easier to work as it is not as hard.

Rutland makes "Stratabond" its sold as actionwood by bow wood suppliers.. A couple of years ago I bought a similar product from another manufacture..they call it "Spectraply". I have used dymondwood in 6 risers, its heavy and hard. I have used spectraply in 5 risers..The actionwood/spectraply is very easy to shape and sand, but does not have the mass weight of Dymondwood.
