A while back I was one of the lucky ones to win some free lams from Kenny. I got some zebra veneers and he threw in some elm lams.  The riser is a shorty (14") made of zebra and wenge to make a 62" bow. This is my best attempt so far...  Thanks Kenny, hope I made you proud!!

That's a beauty! I made a wenge and zebra riser before and really like that combo.

Thanks Gents. I've been admiring all of y'alls work for so long I'm happy to contribute finally. This is my second bow on my own.

Did you ever notice that wenge smells like chocolate when you cut it? (or maybe the fumes were getting to me)

That is awesome.  I really like the wenge and the white really sets it off nicely.  Really killer looking bow.

I dont know if you can see them in the pictures, but I came up with, I think, a new idea for the alignment pins. I use the "line up and drill through" method that Sixby and others have described to align the limbs. I filled the top with 1/4" mosaic pins I got from a knife making supply place. It really looks nice but the bummer is that it is almost impossible to drill through the glass without a split or splinter.
