backing a bow

hi guys was wondering if anybody had heard or made a backed bow using Japanese knot-weed. someone was telling me it had similar properties to bamboo which then got me thinking if it could be used  :confused:   .

I have no idea, but it would be great if someone could find some use for that nasty invasive plant.
