I have never met a more caring, giving, sharing, good hearted, crazy bunch of folks in my life! In the past week I have received a dozen awesome switch cane shafts from David in Arkansas, and I have never met the Man. Today I received my ERC lams from Sister McKenzie in Missouri and as always Kenny sent way past what I ordered, and I have never met the Man. Today Mitch from North Carolina asked for my addy so he can send me some Bamboo he just cut, and I have never met the Man. Last month Ralphie Boy from New Mexico sent me 2 pieces of awesome riser material, East Indian Rosewood and I can never remember the other ones name, and I have never met the Man. Six months ago Pat from NC sent me some switch cane shafts, and I have never met the Man. Four months ago Keenan from Oregon sent me an awesome Yew stave, and I have never met the Man. DVS sent me two Osage billets a year ago, and I have never met the Man. Semo from Missouri sent me awesome Osage billets 2 years ago, and I have never met the Man. Pearly boy from Michigan has sent me two great Osage Self Bows, and I have never met the Man.
Where will it end I have no clue. But you boys are something else. And I am proud to be acquainted with all ya crazy Trad Guys.

You're OK too Roy. Don't you remember sending me a string making jig after I asked a question about making my own bowstrings?
Dave.
" Vegetarian" another word for bad hunter.

Ah crap Dave, I forgot about the Wolf carving you sent me, sorry Bro.

I have never seen a nicer bunch than the folks on here. I've seen more acts of kindness here than any where else in my 52 years.

A couple of months ago, some old cumudgion from PA put a couple of great cane arrows in an art exhibition I am involved. He then told me I can keep the arrows after the show, AND I have never met the man.
Roy you are absolutely right, this site is full of awesome people and you are one of them.
Keep the wind in your face and the sun at your back.

Ditto that. I just recieved a half doz footed cedars from modr in Nj free of charge. Unlike some of the other forums i frequent this one is a class act
And in the end when i can no longer draw the bow or watch the arrow embark on its flight;when i posses only the spirit of the hunter, i will hunt.... if only in my dreams... because the hunt is born amidst my soul, and i... i am the hunter

Roy, after I asked a question about a bow form, you posted a video of yours that really helped me "get the picture" of what I need to do. You are one of the "caring, giving, sharing, good hearted, crazy" bunch that make this site such a bright light in such a dark internet.

Well, I have met you Roy.  What would you like me to send you?  Maybe some Goose Island IPA
