Actionwood is different from Dymondwood.  Actionwood is glued up wood laminations.  Dymondwood is the same but completely impregnated with resin, it's no longer really wood but it makes a nice, heavy riser.

Seems like it was hard to get ebony(black) dymondwood a while back. Something about the high cost to make it.? rrpwhite is where I bought some also. Web site is a little confusing at first for riser block sizes but they have 'em.
