This is a HH inspired glass bow with one inch backset at rest 68" ntn. From the back: Glass, veneer, parallel, parallel, 17" handle fade to fade, taper.oo15, veneer and glass.I wonder if the outer limb sections are a bit stiff, what do you think.

Nice bow!

Tips look a little stiff to me.

I think Howard used a .005 taper rate in his bows.  With only .0015 it would make the tips pretty stiff.

Very  nice.

I have two bows from HHA, the heavier one is 0.006/in and the lighter one (50#ish) is 0.004/in.  I know some have made them with less taper though, notably Dick Wightman.

That's a dang nice lookin' bow!

Since you pointed it out, the tips do look a little stiff.

I use a 0.002 taper in mine and have been thinking about going with more with some other discussions on recent threads.

How does it shoot and do you get much handshock?

There is a bit of handschock with arrows on the light side, but with arrows on the heavy side it is fine. I think I'll try .002 tapers on the next one.

Sweet lady- the handle doesn`t look that hillstyle I`m used but I love how it fits the appearence anyway.
With that little taper I`d ensure the tips to be very narrow reduce weight for max speed- bet that`s nothing new^^

I like them.  I've not built a HH style bow yet but I'm thinking that I really need to try it.

They look great to me I got good results with a .004 taper on my 68" bows . Keep up the good work!

Looks good to me also.  I always seem to shoot better with bow that bend more close to the riser instead of the limb tips.
