Let's just say I had a number of learning moments.  Did you know that when putting on the tip reinforcements with a 4" "C" clap and turning up the heat in the shop that the weight of the "C" clamp pulls the bow tip a whole inch off center? I used Smooth On epoxy to laminate the bow.  What happens to a bow left in a car in the summer in a place like Tucson when the inside of a car can get a lot hotter than my shop? I am happy to say that heating the limb with a hair drier and twisting the tip back in place worked. It's 62", 60# @ 28"and shoots straight !!!!

WOW! That's a heck of a nice riser! Can you post some pictures of the whole bow? I really like that glue-up.

I'll have to find a good place to take a whole bow picture.  I'm having a hard time finding a decent backdrop.  Thanks for the compliments.

I have been toying with the idea of doing a really labor intensive riser lamination lately...having done the initial planning I can really appreciate the work that went into what you have done here!....NICE JOB!

"FIRST BOW??!!!" Wow! I thought you were supposed to break a few, then make a few ugly ones that shoot and then after years of practice finally get around to something like that. Very nice.  :)

Great job. Way to customise the handle too. That's one of the best parts about making your own.
