increasing bow weight

so im looking on making my 3 piece recurve  about 15# heavier is there anyway you can do that with sinew or anything really? or any place i could send the bow and have them do it? i dont care about looks as its not a pretty bow as it is i just want it to go from 72# to 85-90# range
any animal you see posted that i say i personally harvested was eaten

You could add another piece or glass over the existing back. There is a formula to figure the stack thickness. Maybe one of the math guru's will add that information.

TTT anyone have any imput? or have any idea who i could ship the bow to get it  made heavier

I know you can put more glass on, just never done it so I wouldn't know what to recommend on stack or gluing process.

Depending on how the limbs bolt on you can create a spacer system pushing the limbs further away from the riser. I would bet you could get a few # there. The next option is some how making the bow shorter , possibly making a smaller riser . I dont think you will get to 15#  but you can get some. I personally try not to modify another persons handy work but I have no problem passing it on a getting a new bow.
