Finished this bow today, Bocote riser with bloodwood accents, deer antler on the face, tips and arrow heads on the limbs. Limbs are bocote veneers from IdahoCurt. Tony

That is some great looking Bocote to complement a great looking bow!!!!

Very nice....is that a static tip?

You did some fine work there sir!  I was wondering the same thing,  static tipped bow?

east_tx_pineknot

Oh, one more question...Since it is Bocote, what finish did you use?

Sweet bow.i like the antler work.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Static tips? I haven't added anything to the tips other than phenolic for FF string. I'm not sure if I know what static tips are? The bow is smooth, fast and quiet.
I tried something different with the finish, Two coat of shellac to seal and 3-4 coats of poly. Tony

Beautiful wood to match a beautiful bow!
