Picked up a 10" jet band saw for a price I couldnt pass up. Anybody here have any experience with one. I will try to set it up so I can cut risers for a takedown. Maybe even try to make a sled to rough cut laminations. Any advice is welcome.

I bought the same thing.  It is a very nice bandsaw but I have some concerns about whether or not it will do ok on a riser (arcs and such). I cut out my lam forms on it with no problem (1.5 inch plywood). I bought a 4tpi blade and it has a wobble, or side to side oscillation in it that is bugging me. It wasnt there on the previous blade. with that oscillation, using my table saw for lams is easier and wastes just as much wood.  Good luck with the saw. I might eventually go to a 14 incher..

You might want to look at the weld on your new blade. I had a cheap blade on my last saw and the weld was the problem.
