So I am rushing to get two bows built, one for myself and one for my wife. After getting my bow roughed out I started laying out the bow for my wife, taping one side of the glass and preping all the veneeres, carbon fiber and bamboo. I get it all glued and in the oven. Three hours+ later we take it out and start to peel the tape off and to my horror, find that I have glued the wrong side of the glass to the veneer! I am hoping that because it is a light wieght bow, 28-30# that the glue will stick to tha smooth side of the glass and I won't have any problems. Any advice on if it will hold? Thanks.

That's a real bummer.  I think at 30#, it will probably hold.  You know what you could do to convince yourself?  Take your bow, cut off whatever you're going to cut off from the ends, and put a dab of Smooth On on the fiberglass, let it cure, then try to pry it off with a flathead screwdriver.  Or, you could glue two of your scrap pieces of fiberglass together and see what it takes to get them apart.

I believe the unsanded side still has a release agent on it, we always sand it off before appling tips and finish. I think it has a chance to delam.. When you cut it to size take the cut off piece and see if you can seperate the glass from the veneer.

Your not alone. If you think your the first think again. I would finish the bow. I have even talked with Gordon  glass about this . They think you could using epoxy glue glue shinny side to shinny side and not have failure. After bow is finisher maybe you pull it back for awhile. I had many customer do this and never herd of bow braking. They also may have never told me.

that's some good news! maybe you will be OK

As you found out the worst thing you can do when bow building is RUSH.
