If I have a bow tillered to 26 inches just what is involved to get to 28"
Is it just pulling slowly and watching the bend?
I'm not concerned about the weight as such.

If it's bending perfectly even at 26", and you're not concerned about the weight, just pull it to 28", and it should be fine.  You don't need to remove any more wood.

...what Sam said as long as the bow is long enough for 28" draw.

Just be sure you draw 28". Have someone watch you shoot. I tillered my first out to 28" only to find my draw with a selfie was 26".  :)  Jawge
