any body tried this dye on limb lams before glue up. just wondering if it was compatible with the 2 part expoxies used for glueing limbs and glass

Black Mockingbird

Its what i use with my selfbows and wood to wood laminates. It works on boo. Not sure how it works for glass bows n i dont make them, but i think it wood be fine if you dyed your wood lams with it pre glue-up. I dont think it would mess up any epoxy you used. You can use it with denatured alcohol to thin and lighten it up,and at the same time the alcohol in it will help degrease any oily woods. Or if you didnt wanna dilute the color,id degrease it first, then dye it,then do your glue up after its dried. Always test things out on scrap pieces first.
But thats just my two cents, cus im not a glass builder.

Crooked Stic

It works great on glass bows also. Mix with denatured alcohol.
