Osage with a bear rawhide backing. 63 and 1/2" ntn with elk antler tip overlays. I mean for it to bend more in the handle when it's done. It is 65# at 28" and should end up 60#. My Gizmo is saying it is nearly perfect tiller. I painted the back and sealed it with Tru-oil even thought I'm still tillering. Here ya go...

Left limb is stiffer. Take a sheet of paper and put it against your computer screen and trace your bow limbs on the paper. Turn the paper around and you will see she is not bending the same. Dean

I like it, it needs a little more bend on the left side near the center.  it won't take much to get it there.  I like the art work on the back.

The right limb looks a little hingy about 1/3 out from the handle and stiff past that. Fix that first then make the get the left bending a bit more.
Make the most of all that comes and the least of all that goes!

Thank you. I thought I saw a hinge on the right also. And I see the stiff area on the left now.

I love the painting on the bow!

PEARL DRUMS

That tiller looks good to me. I stared long and hard at that picture. Those studs mess with your eyes. Bona turn that picture clockwise and I bet it looks sweet.

bona that is really awesome I love the back of that bow. You are going to give pat a run for his money on the cave are bows. LOL

Bear rawhide that is a new one on here I think.

b.glass

Thanks guys! With the rawhide and the bear claw painting and a bear claw hanging from the handle, I'm thinking I will call her "Goldie". She will be loaded for bear!

It is my brother-in-law's Kris. I should have had it done for Christmas. It's getting close to done now though.

I've been working on other projects at the same time. I have a good start on my swap bow and when this one is done it will go alot faster. There's been alot going on here, around home, it seems.

I wanted to show you where I think this bow needs wood removed but I can't figure out how to use photo bucket to do that.

I'll try to explain where I want to remove wood. On the left near the handle and on the right limb about 1/3 or 1/2 of the way from the handle and out toward the tip.

What do you think?
