inner tubes

When you use inner tubes on you form instead of clamps,can it then be put in a hot box?Seems like the rubber would give!

I use a rubber band form, If you can find a used tractor or semi-truck  intertube, they are thicker than regular intertubes. Then spiral cut in 1 1/4" strips. I got over 100 ft out of half a tractor intertube. My pegs are 2" apart and I streach and double lace the bow down to the form. After about 50 bows I am still using the same rubber band.
