Got it finished, Came out pretty well and shoots good. It's 67 ntn 50 Lbs at 28". The riser is Pau Fero. The limbs are made of Jatoba with an Osage belly and Bamboo backed. The next one is gong to be 64 " and have a different style of riser,

kennym

Nice one Buck, hows it shoot for you with the riser set back?
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Nice work!  Looks like it would be very pleasant to shoot.

Nice bow Buck! It was your tri lam build-a-long that helped me get started building bows a year ago. Would you mind if I ask how thick the lams are? I tried to build a couple of bamboo backed bows with jatoba cores, but I couldn't get it right.
I was trying for pretty much the same weight and draw length as yours.
Thanks.

It's shoots really well and quite smooth ,but it has a  bit of weight to it, my next one the riser going to be quite a bit different and have a slimmer profile to it

kennym

After looking again, it wasn't quite what I was thinkin.

I built one with a lot of preload and it was kinda hard to shoot.

The limb tips on yours aren't too far ahead of the riser, mine was about 4"

You had to be up on your game to shoot it! LOL
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Dave make your Jatoba  .300  thick then taper it  to about .120  at the tips . Then the Osage on the belly is  .120 thick. We use them measurement  on all the bows we make .

Thanks Buck. I have everything I need except the osage, but I saw some at the local wood supplier last time I was there. I will hopefully start one later in March.

Hello Buck!
Great bow, can you give us some specification about your bow?

Greetings Peter
