New to Trad Gang.
I am looking to make another reflex/deflex design longbow.
The first one that I made, was the print from Bingham Projects. I think that their reflex/deflex is concidered a Howard Hill style bow. This bow has a flat back and does not start to radius untill the fadouts when strung.
Where can I get the form of the reflex/deflex bows that have the curved back by the riser?
I like the look of the bows that you guys put out and would like to try to build one.
   Thanks,

Kenny M- He's a sponser on here and a heck of a great guy to deal with.
He has has plans for a real nice r/d that he sells. It's a good proven design and he could probably get you set up with a stack hight to get the weight you want.

I will post a pic of some of my kennym design bows later today...when I get out of this treestand

I bought a 62'-64" template from kennym, but I made this one 66"

I've thought about that Robert. How much weight you reckon it cost to lengthen 2"?

Still has a good braced profile.
Stay sharp, Kenny.

kenny, stack was .366, riser was 18 1/2" ,I put in a 24" "powerlam" in the stack too, limb width at fades was 1.40" and 5/8" at string groove.. it came out 46# @ 28" on my spring scale and I think it's the best shooting bow I have built so far, the extra glass in the riser gives it a nice solid feel. I built it for Helen to target shoot with.

kennym

Sounds about the same as shortening 2"

That adds 6# and you lost 4#, but added a powerlam which I find to add a couple#

Sorry mzombek,for hijacking,and welcome!!  :)
Stay sharp, Kenny.

That is a very nice bow, Robert. I really like the design.  I am thinking of building one that style (except I can't do the fancy wood work).
