Just finished one from a new form/design I came up with.
Ended up 58" 49#@29".(was trying for 60" and somewere in the low 50's@29)
Thought I would hit a wall after 28" draw but it only gained 3# per in. from 28 to 30,checked with two different scales.

Zapote riser
Red elm under the glass with sassafrass cores
Red heart overlays
Power lams and tip wedges in there too.

Here it is drawn to about 29"

Frank, that is a good looking short bow. I am debating on what I want my next type of bow to be Hill, short longbow or recurve... but that short bow may help me choose

Great looking bow Frank, I bet that shoots really well.  I think I may have to try one of the short longbows also.  Your handle really looks nice, I like the way everything came together in the grip.

I really like to the strung profile on that one.  I bet it is a great shooter.

Had to do it, I ran out and got a new battery for the chrony.
Done this without a machine so I tried to stay as consistant as I could with a 29" draw.

9.8 gr.per # arrow-avg. 185fps
10.3"  "   "   "    "   181fps
11.5"  "   "   "    "   176fps

I was very happy with the numbers for 49#.
Very dead in the hand and nice to shoot.
